Mountain Bike Patrol

The Globe Police Department Mountain Bike Patrol consists of eight officers who have been trained to ride mountain bikes for the purpose of patrolling and law enforcement. These officers are used for special details such as parades and other large functions. The Mountain Bike Patrol is also used for special patrols in areas experiencing an unusual increase in crime.
