The City Council of Globe, Arizona will hold a public hearing on the Final Budget pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-17103(C). The hearing will be held at 6 p.m. on July 26, 2016 at the Council chambers located at 150 N. Pine Street Globe, AZ 85501. A complete copy of estimates may be found on the City of Globe Website; globeaz.gov and at the Globe Public Library located at; 339 S. Broad Street Globe, Arizona  85501. The City Council of Globe, Arizona held a public hearing on a proposed change to the City tax code pursuant to A.R.S the § 42-6053. The proposed change will increase the sales tax rate by 1.17%. The hearing was held at 6 p.m. on June 14, 2016 at the Council chambers located at 150 N. Pine Street Globe, AZ 85501. Additional information can be obtained at:  City Hall 150 N. Consumer Fireworks Prohibition in place within Globe City Limits

 

The City of Globe would like to remind everyone that currently the Tonto National Forest has an Emergency Fire Restriction in place. http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd504863.pdf  


Therefore the use of permissible consumer fireworks are prohibited in the City of Globe as per Globe City Code Section 5-1-14 Sub section A (http://www.globeaz.gov/files/pdf/city-code/CHAPTER-5.pdf)


Additional fire restrictions are in place within the unincorporated areas of Gila County.
