Code Enforcement

Code Enforcement

The mission of Code Enforcement is to improve the quality of life in the City of Globe and promote the public health, safety and welfare of the community by protecting neighborhoods and property values from blight, decline and deterioration.

Code Enforcement works in partnership with the citizens of Globe by using education, inspection and enforcement of the City's Property Maintenance, Globe Municipal Codes, Building Codes, Zoning and Sign Codes. Owners and residents are responsible for property maintenance and the maintenance of sidewalks and alleyways bordering their property.

Common violations include but not limited to:

  • Junk Vehicles
  • Accumulation of trash, rubbish, debris
  • Over grown weeds/landscapes
  • Un-permitted structures, work, and signs
  • Outdoor storage
  • Zoning use violations
