I have an idea for a business. Where do I start?
- The Community & Economic Development Department (CEDD) grants approval for commercial development projects in Globe. The Planning and Zoning process ensures that projects conform to the City ordinances and codes.
- Contact the CEDD to determine the types of applications that are needed for a project, how to process the applications, and make an appointment for an initial site/plan review. Other City Departments, such as Building Safety and Public Works, may be included in the process.
- All commercial enterprises located within the City of Globe must have a business license. The application is available at the City of Globe City Hall, or it can be downloaded under forms through our website.
- Contact the Arizona Department of Revenue to inquire about the taxes associated with specific types of businesses.
