Notice of Intent to Add Pool and Credit Card Fees to the 2022 Fee Schedule

Pursuant to A. R. S.§§ 9-499.15, the City of Globe is providing notice of its intention to add fees to the City Fee Schedule.  With the anticipated opening of the Community Center Pool, the City of Globe will be adding pool admission fees to the fee schedule.  In order to better serve city customers paying fees with credit cards, the City of Globe will pass the applicable credit card transaction fee on to Building and Zoning Permit consumers, allowing this convenience to our customers.  The City of Globe has prepared a written Fee Report dated March 22, 2022, which supports the proposed reduction and increase in fees.  A copy of the Fee Report is available to the public for review and inspection on the city website globeaz.gov or at the office of the Globe City Clerk located at Globe City Hall, 150 N. Pine St., Globe, Arizona, 85501.

A Public Hearing on the proposed reductions, additions and increases in fees shall be held by the Mayor and Council of the City of Globe on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 6 PM at Globe City Hall, 150 N. Pine St., Globe, Arizona, 85501.

The public hearing will be scheduled on the agenda for the purpose of presenting, discussing, and to obtain any comments on the proposed fee reductions, additions and increases. Written and verbal comments are welcome at the public meeting. Action on the item will occur after the public hearing, but not sooner than sixty days following the Effective Notice Date of July 1, 2022.
