Freddy Rios represents the interests of District 1 and the City of Globe. He has lived in Globe for 15 years with his wife Norma and family. Freddy and Norma have two childern, Freddy and Leah and two granddaughter, Audrey and Avery. Freddy was elected to his first term City Councilman in 2016.

Freddy has 37 years leadership experience in customer and community service. He is employed as a Division Manager in the public water utility industry, routinely practicing fiscal responsibility, works with and through regulatory agencies at the national, state, county and local governments. He is a member of American Water Works Association, Arizona Water Association, Freeport McMoRan Globe-Miami Community Partnership Panel and appointed to several City of Globe and employer based committees.

Freddy has over 30 years youth sports coaching experience and has volunteered in numerous community events including, U of A Arizona Project Wet, Gila County STEMFest, elementary school and public library presentations.

Freddy has acquired an Associate of Arts degree in Corrections from Pima College, Certifications issued by Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. Courses completed in Water and Wastewater, Water Treatment Process.

Freddy's vision for Globe includes a strong economy, a thriving downtown, vibrant neighborhoods and superior quality of life.

His City of Globe priorities are:
