Veteran’s Park is located directly in front of the Globe City Hall, between Cedar St. and Oak St. off of Highway 60. The park has multiple picnic areas with barbeque pits as well as 2 jungle gyms and a swing set. A large flag pole and commemorative plaque sit at the center of the park. The park is also home to a historic steam engine from the Southern Pacific Railroad. Built in 1901, this engine is one of the only seven still in existence in the world today.
