The mission of the Development Services Department is to aid in planning and technical services to guide the orderly development of a healthy, balanced and livable community. This department issues construction permits and enforces codes and ordinances to ensure safe and attractive neighborhoods and a healthy environment. For further information on building ordinances please see Chapter 14 of the City Code.
