The summer reading program is held each summer. There are weekly programs for children from birth to 18, and bi-weekly programs for adults 18+ and families. Throw in ending celebrations and prizes for all ages.

Save Time!!! What a Bargain!!! What a Deal!!!
We know that you lead a very busy and hectic life and are looking for anything that will simplify things for you. WE'RE HERE TO HELP!
JOIN the BEST-SELLERS CLUB for only $5.00 a year and you can get your favorite books without reservations.
Just pick up a BEST-SELLERS CLUB Form at the Library, next, choose your favorite 4 authors from the list, fill in your name, library card barcode, phone number, etc. Then, sit back and wait for your favorite bestsellers to be reserved automatically for you. You will be contacted when the books become available. If, at any time, you decide to add other authors from the list to your profile or remove an author you no longer read, just pick up a new form at the Globe Library.
It’s a good idea to make a copy of the list before you turn it in; that way you won’t forget which authors you’ve selected for automatic reserves.
Note: You can still reserve any book, CD, etc. the normal way for free - call us, tell us when you visit, or reserve it yourself through our online catalog.
If you join the Friends of Globe Public Library with a yearly membership fee of $10.00 for an individual (or $25.00 for a family), the BEST-SELLERS CLUB will be absolutely FREE.
