How We Can Help

  • Education and Outreach - Our Family Advocacy Center can provide education and tools to schools, agencies, and the community in efforts to recognize and reduce violence and abuse.
  • Forensic Interviews - Our Center provides forensic interviews for children, teens, and vulnerable adults. The forensic interview is conducted by a specially trained professional for the purpose of gathering information about something the individual may have experienced or witnessed.
  • Advocacy - Advocates are available to assist individuals and families. Some areas advocates can assist are emotional support and resource and referral information. Advocates can also provide information about trauma related topics, coping skills/resiliency, and the legal process.
  • Health Services - Forensic medical exams are provided to children, teens, and adults by a specially trained medical provider.

How You Can Help

  • Become Informed - Become informed about child abuse prevention, child maltreatment, and mandatory reporting.
  • Sponsor - Sponsor a fundraiser with our center as the beneficiary.
  • Volunteer - Volunteer your time to help the Family Advocacy Center and the individuals we serve.
  • Donate - Donate emergency items such as: diapers, snacks, comfort items, toys, and unused underwear or clothing.
